Heading South to an all-inclusive resort can be a memorable and easy way to travel as a family – especially if you have yet to brave traveling with small children. We found it to be the perfect way to ease into travel, especially after having our second child. It’s a little less stressful
We’re back!! What a trip! We were so excited to take off to Hawaii to spend some much needed time poolside and on the beach with our little family, but of course the stress of getting there in one piece weighted heavily on our minds!! Ben does not travel well! And not until recently connecting the dots.. I get motion sickness sooo it makes total sense that he could too! But we made it and as the title says we literally slept, ate, chilled on repeat and I wouldn’t have changed a thing!
ALOHA! That’s right.. the time has finally come! We’re off to Honolulu today!! Seeing all of your beautiful holiday posts over these past couple of months has had me going through some serious vacay envy! With us moving soon, we didn’t think a family vacation was in the cards for us this year, buuutt we managed to make it work and we CAN. NOT. WAIT!!
Welp.. we made it guys!! What a whirl wind of a spring break! I thought I would be ready to get back into the hustle and bustle of our daily grind, but honestly I could use another week yet.
My to-do list is ever growing as I’m sure you fellow mamas can relate to, but these last two weeks were completely focused around family and time together. I don’t know if it’s because I feel our time coming to an end soon on the West Coast, so we need to soak it up as much as we can or that I feel our family’s disconnection with hubby traveling so much that I feel our time together is more precious then ever.
Since moving to the Vancouver area, we’ve really tried to make a point of exploring what the beautiful West Coast has to offer. At least one of our summer vacations MUST be a visit to a neighbouring city or town. This weekend we had a wedding to attend in Pemberton and we thought, why not take this opportunity to spend a few days in Whistler!?
