Isn’t fall just the BEST!! The chilly air, the golden leaves, the cozy sweaters, and comfy nights in, the red wine.. ohh the wine! Fall is such a relaxing time and much needed after the hustle and bustle of summer, to then settle back into the swing of school. The weather here in Ontario has remained to be stickin’ hot and humid.. so I’ve desperately been craving some cooler temperatures and to finally layer up and soak in all things pumpkin spiced!
Never did I think this day would come, but here I am.. ready for yah! This summer has brought on a lot of changes for us! Packing up and leaving Vancouver was tough, but we quickly found ourselves settled into our new summer home in the Okanagan!! If last minute changes came into play, I think it’s safe to say we were certainly open to staying and extra week.. or two!
We’re back!! What a trip! We were so excited to take off to Hawaii to spend some much needed time poolside and on the beach with our little family, but of course the stress of getting there in one piece weighted heavily on our minds!! Ben does not travel well! And not until recently connecting the dots.. I get motion sickness sooo it makes total sense that he could too! But we made it and as the title says we literally slept, ate, chilled on repeat and I wouldn’t have changed a thing!
ALOHA! That’s right.. the time has finally come! We’re off to Honolulu today!! Seeing all of your beautiful holiday posts over these past couple of months has had me going through some serious vacay envy! With us moving soon, we didn’t think a family vacation was in the cards for us this year, buuutt we managed to make it work and we CAN. NOT. WAIT!!
Since moving to the Vancouver area, we’ve really tried to make a point of exploring what the beautiful West Coast has to offer. At least one of our summer vacations MUST be a visit to a neighbouring city or town. This weekend we had a wedding to attend in Pemberton and we thought, why not take this opportunity to spend a few days in Whistler!?
