Our Fall Bucket List

Isn’t fall just the BEST!! The chilly air, the golden leaves, the cozy sweaters, and comfy nights in, the red wine.. ohh the wine! Fall is such a relaxing time and much needed after the hustle and bustle of summer, to then settle back into the swing of school. The weather here in Ontario has remained to be stickin’ hot and humid.. so I’ve desperately been craving some cooler temperatures and to finally layer up and soak in all things pumpkin spiced!

We’ve never tried creating a bucket list before, but since we’re new to Ontario I thought this would be a great way to get a little more out of this beautiful season and explore around our new city! We wanted to incorporate some things we would typically enjoy this time of a year as well as few nostalgic childhood traditions we’d like to pass on and a couple new items we’ve yet to try as a family.

As the kids have gotten older it’s become a little easier to venture out, especially as they begin to embrace the joy of each holiday season. Emma is BEYOND excited for Halloween this year too and has had her costume idea set for weeks!  She’s actually asked for her birthday this year (a Dec 31st baby) to have all of our family over to go trick or treatin’.. not sure how were going to pull that off in December, buuttt any suggestions please leave this desperate momma your ideas in the comments below!

And with all that.. it looks like we have our work cut out for us this fall! Even if we cover half these items, just to get out and venture somewhere new is good enough for us! The weather man is reporting a thunderstorm this evening, so I’m thinking some home decorating and fall baking is in order!

If you’re looking for a quick + easy fall outing, I’ve attached the autumn scavenger hunt printable we did last year! I don’t know about your little ones, but give mine a bucket and a trail to explore.. endless hours of fun!
