I can’t even believe I am writing this post, but here we are!! I’m determined to be nothing, but happy and excited for our little girl as she graduates from preschool to kindergarten.. and maybe a little nostalgic too. They grow up so quickly!! (queue the ugly cry!!)
Here’s a little flashback to September 2017 on her first day of Preschool..
What a whirlwind of a year it has been! I will admit the adjustment to preschool did not come easy. There was a solid 4 weeks of emotions for both of us really.. but once she began forming friendships, and with help of her amazing teachers she settled in and this stage of her life has been one of her biggest leaps thus far!
Unfortunately with us moving Emma had to miss the last few days of class, but this is her a couple weeks ago on what was her ‘official’ last day of school!
We decided to make the trek back down to Vancouver for a few reasons, but mainly so she could participate in her preschool graduation ceremony and say goodbye to her friends and teachers one last time. It was quick and simple, and set at the beautiful location of Whonnock Lake in Mission, which with these little guys I don’t think you could have asked for much more!
Words can’t express just how proud we are of this girl! As hard as it is to let her go bit by bit, we can’t wait to see what this bright and beautiful future holds for her ❤
Watch out Kindergarten.. this girl’s coming for yah!
We love you baby girl! xo
